Lead Arborist/Crew Supervisor

The Lead Arborist/Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading their respective crew in all job operations, including maintaining and taking care of equipment. The Lead Arborist will be a certified, climbing arborist with experience mentoring and/or leading a team. In this Supervisor role the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all staff adhere to safety policies and procedures, as well as provide on the job training that encourages development within their roles.

Crew Leaders must have a positive and approachable personality, with the ability to make quick, well-thought out decisions, have a hardworking mentality with an eagerness to lead their team in a positive work environment.
Qualifications you must have:
ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent
Advanced chainsaw, chipper and stumper experience
Valid and clean Driver’s License G and/or DZ (with 3 years of proven experience)
Strong tree and shrub identification
2+ years in the field with a focus on leading by example
Excellent communication skills – written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills with customers and co-workers is critical
Customer service, client relations and sales experience
Utility Arborist certification or equivalent training
Landscape exterminators license
Health and safety training for Aerial Lift Operations and IHSA MTO book 7
